About Us

John Hughes, Company-Director, has over 20 years experience in the diabetes industry, having set up of Lifescan in the UK, and in addition having worked for such organisations as Abbott Laboratories (Medisense blood glucose monitoring) and Novo Nordisk. John was also involved in the earliest insulin infusion delivery systems and established Disetronic Medical Systems Ltd in the UK in 1999.

Alison Hughes, Customer Service Manager has over 15 years experience in providing sales support and service with diabetes products and equipment.

Les Norton (Product Specialist) was formerly a diabetes nurse specialist within the NHS and now brings his expertise to the commercial setting. His particular interest and skill is helping centres to set up and establish their own insulin pump therapy service.
